About this Charter

Our private Alaska fishing charter allows our clients to customize the fishing experience with your interest and timetable. We will work around your schedule and offer options that will make your trip truly memorable. Typically we offer this option in pursuit of multiple species inlcuding salmon and halibut. However the options to customize this trip are endless.

Please note:

• All of our trips are private and we can accommodate up to 6 passengers per vessel. Rates are based on number of guests.
• Guide gratuity, fishing licenses, and fish processing are not included in price. Guest must purchase fishing licenses in advance online here: store.adfg.alaska.gov
• If your choice of day or time is unavailable online, please fill out a form on our Contact page as we may still be able to accommodate your request.

Options:

24′ Cabin Cruiser

Our 24′ cabin cruiser is the perfect platform for your Alaskan fishing charter. Our seasoned guide and vessel can target both salmon and bottom fish while being fast, stable, and comfortable. We also provide you with a porta potty and privacy curtain inside the cabin if needed. You may also customize your experience with our add on options.

Private Charter 32′ Cabin Cruiser

When you charter our 32′ cabin cruiser you will receive our ultimate fishing experience with all the added comforts. This multi species trip will take you to our most productive locations. You will have all the ammentities including a private head, diesel heater, galley, and a huge fishing platform. You may also customize your experience with our add on options.

• Bottled water, soda, and various snacks.
• Delivery of your catch to the Fish Processor
• All required USCG approved safety gear
• Helly Hanson rain gear in adult sizes.

Fishing License

• Anyone 16 and older is required to purchase a one-day sport fishing license online and in advance at $15 each.
• If you’re salmon fishing June through the month of August you will also need to purchase a King stamp at $15 each.
• We require purchasing online to save time the day of your arrival. Make sure you have your printed copy of the license on you.

Shipping your Catch

• All of our processing and shipping is done through our 3rd party vendor, Gateway Seafood and Smokehouse. Processing cost include the filleting, vac sealing, and freezing of your catch. Cost vary depending on the filleted weight. Overnight Shipping is available via Fed Ex. Our guide will facilitate delivery of your catch to the processor and help you fill out the shipping form on board.

Meeting Location

• For cruise guest docking downtown at Berths 1-4 our guide will meet you at the end of your ships ramp holding a The Alaska Catch sign. Our boats will be a two minute walk from your ship.
• Cruise clients docking at Ward Cove (Norwegian Cruise Lines, Regatta, Seven Seas Mariner, and Ocean Victory) will be met downtown at Berth 4. Please take the shuttle from Ward Cove to the downtown drop off at Berth 4, unless otherwise notified. Our guide will be holding a The Alaska Catch sign.
• Our clients staying in town will be met at the red steel Stedman Street bridge near Creek Street on Thomas Basin Harbor. Our guide will be holding a The Alaska Catch sign. (207 Stedman Street, Ketchikan AK 99901)
